

ABOUT EFFY
Effy is an independent espresso bar and micro-bakery founded in Nottingham in 2019. The cafe concentrates predominantly on sourcing soluble coffees from roasters across Europe, who provide an assortment of progressively processed coffees while still keeping a selection of more traditional processes. Pairing these coffees with high-extraction equipment, we are able to provide rare and high-cost coffees for accessible prices.

HOUSE ESPRESSO
Our regularly rotating house coffee is pulled through WAFO baskets, we aim to supply high extraction, thick espressos. All of our espresso is single-dosed and ground using an EK43 with Turkish burrs.

GUEST ESPRESSO
All of our guest espressos are pulled using the SWORKS 58mm to 30mm step-down high extraction basket.

FILTER
Pour-over coffee at Effy utilises the high surface area grounds of the Turkish burrs in the EK and the fast flow rate of the Origami brewers to prepare consistent, full bodied filter coffee at a good price.
